PrismaColor Marker drawings

Using Prisma Color Markers:
A neighbor gave me a big box of prismacolor markers. I found the Pen sketcher's - Bee Paper Company worked good for that.

Story behind drawings:
These 3 drawings. Moving to a new city, new city, new everything is cause of anxiety from a constant nervous person.
1st image, I thought it be funny.

2nd drawing - Also thought it be funny. But Exploring imagination with trying to figure where shadow and light would be.

3rd drawing - like 4th image, focus on color and shape. Some of markers was dying on me.

4th picture - is an old project from color theory class using gouache. Assignment was using color use to emotion. This image motivated me to do these type of drawings again.

Sharpie images

Try drawing a picture with the sharpies.

First picture is my dog, followed some lines in her face and with my doodled some. Limited color choices.

The second drawing is a picture I did for a friend to give to her as a gift for being awesome to me. Considering it was a gift, I also feared a little of disapointing them, I wasn't as risky as I would be with my own drawings. She says she is happy with picture.

Many Doodles in groups

all 3"x5" or 4"x6" cards. All mostly sharpies or G2 Pens.
Continuing my doodles. Trying to add color. Also try to change up shapes and directions, and think of composition.

3"x5" cards with G2 Pens, but all 4 connect to adjacent card by matching where the lines meet and color,  and then continue the card to be slightly different from each other. This was just to try.

Doodle while super tired

All 3"x5" cards and in fine tip sharpies
Been helping person with projects for his work that consists of fixing up outside of houses, and rv trailers. For me that means, sanding, cleaning, pasting, staining, and some tool use, but mostly pointless tasks. The doodles came out like this.

Doodles

All drawings on 3"x5" paper and G2 Pens. Doodling can take me to another world, its like a meditating. I can fall into this for several hours. When I draw with G2 Pens, or fine tip sharpies, I start off just focusing closely, extremely close to paper and focusing on the ink leaving the pen and going on to paper. I let it take me wherever it goes. Automatically I do make decisions of color and shapes and composition.

Doodles

I do this kind of doodling whenever I am stuck or want to relax. I also doodle when listening to other people speak to help listen and keep calm and focus. These were done in summer 2015.

Update Since Summer 2015

Back to Blog to put recent art work from 2015 after big move:

Today I have decided to come back to my blog, since its been a while. And I been posting on facebook and instagram and other places. But people find it boring, so I put it here for those interested. And please no comments how you can't understand me, my writing is horrible, or my drawings sucks. Constructive criticism is ok.

I mainly wanted to show my current work, since my move to new location since May 2015. Things changed, and so has my work, maybe from influence of area or just a change shift to the mind.

So here it is, my next phase of drawings.  But for now I will be posting things that does not match the date considering they are done sometime between June- Dec 2015 & Jan 2016, but will try to keep in order that I did do them.
